Miscellaneous info

Hello all!!  We are finally getting the hang of potty training! Zackary loves his "Lightning McQueen" toilet seat.  He has a sticker chart and lots of construction, dinosaur and automobile stickers on it.  Pooping is still a little scary, though I hear that is common!  Any suggestions!??

We also went downtown Fort Wayne (12/21/11) to enjoy some famous Coney Island hot dogs and see Santa lit up.  Zackary had fun!  Enjoy the pictures!!

Christmas pictures

We went to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo for a meet and greet Santa party.  We made some decorations, had some cookies and hot chocolate and met Santa and Mrs. Santa too!  We got to see some zoo animals and see some reindeer.  It was a blast!!



















Here we are after church with a breakfast with Santa.  Santa made sure he knew what Zack wanted for Christmas.  It was fun!

Halloween 2011

Ok, so Zackary went at Dennis the Menace for Halloween.  What a cheap and perfect outfit for him.  Thank goodness he really isn't a menace!  He had fun and loved handing out candy to the neighbors!

Playing in the leaves

Zackary sure had fun playing in the leaves at Nana and Papa's house.  He was playing with Uncle Geoff, kicking them and falling in them. Oh what fun to be a kid!!! 

Twinkle twinkle.....

Zack decided he wanted to sing "Twinkle Twinkle little star" and he actually let me record it. He is so excited to share it with you!!

Meeting our new Niece/Cousin

On Labor Day weekend we finally got to meet Gianna Schaller, Bryan and Kristen's little girl.  She is absolutely beautiful and such a great baby.  Zackary was interested in her and loved to give her kisses.  We enjoyed our time together and couldn't get enough of her sweetness!!

UPS NASCAR race

Kevin was nominated by his boss at UPS Freight to represent the Freight division from Fort Wayne.  What an honor!  We got to go to the NASCAR Sprint Cup race in Sparta, KY.  They paid for our tickets and our bus ride to the race.  They had a great hospitality tent with wonderful food and prizes.  It was nice for just the 2 of us to get away.  Zackary stayed with Nana and Papa Montgomery for 2 days.

It was hot and I (Amanda) could care less for racing...let alone NASCAR.  But I sucked it up and had fun with my husband, and people watching!  I've never seen so many shirtless men who shouldn't have their shirt off in the first place.  Also, the women with bikini tops and cut off shorts was terrible.  Wow...that was a sight!

This is David Ragan's car.  It was great to see him in person and he actually came to our UPS tent and said hello.  I think he came in 8th? 

It's been awhile

Hey everyone!!  Sorry it's been so long since I've updated the site.  It's been a very busy summer to say the least.  We've been busy traveling and being together as a family.  For some reason I couldn't update the blog so I decided to delete a lot so we could make room for more!  Enjoy your summers and stay cool!!!

Toledo Zoo

We took a family vacation to the Toledo Zoo Memorial Day weekend. We had such a great time and Zackary finally got to see his hippos! It's all he's been talking about since I told him we were going to see them. Every morning he'd wake up and say hippos!? I'd tell him how many more days and then finally he woke up Saturday morning and said hippos....today!??!!

The polar bears were by far Mommy's favorite. What a huge animal! I'd love to swim all day like them!

Zackary turned "2" April 23rd. We had a nice party to celebrate. Zackary got lots of cool clothes, toys and books. He is really into sports right now (Daddy loves that).

Warm days

What a warm sunny Sunday it was! We cleaned up the yard and did some spring cleaning. Zackary had fun on his bike and enjoyed being silly as usual!!

Spring fever

I am sure everyone is getting spring fever! We are so sick of the cold weather! It's been a little warmer to play outside....well in the garage with toys. Zackary was enjoying a warmer day with his new Cubs hat on! So priceless!

Kissy kissy

Zackary is a true lover. He absolutely loves to kiss his toys, us and Enza. She sure appreciates the lovin' too! He had his doctor's kit this morning, and he was playing doctor with Enza. She was having fun! I kept hearing his lips smack and looked over and he was kissing her nose. I tried to get it on camera, but of course they both moved! Priceless :)

Zackary is sure a huge help at home vacuuming for Mommy! He didn't want to stop, he could have done this all day!!

Tumbling class

Every Friday for the past month we've been going to Mommy & Me tumbling classes. They are inexpensive and so much fun!! Zackary has 3 other classmates this month. He is the youngest, but he still has fun! The class is 45 minutes of fun. It sure wears us out!!

Pink slippers

Ok, so Zackary tried on Mommy's slippers the other day and loved walking around in them! I know they are pink and Daddy was just shaking his head. Even Enza wonders what Z was thinking ;)

Science Central

Nana & Papa watched Zackary one day and they made a trip to Science Central in Fort Wayne. Zackary had fun playing with water and spinning tic-tac-toe and watching a balloon go up and down. Such a fun place for kids, especially when it's cold out!!
